Red lights indicate that doors are secure

well on a night out i spied a little sign in the taxi, which said "red lights.....

so from this, i learnd that the arctic monkeys song of the same name, is actually all about getting a taxi in sheffield.

i've never really like the arctic monkeys, and i wouldn't call myself a fan, but thats just plain awesome.

a German theme today, well not really.

i saw the futurheads the other night and it was so good to be back at a gig, its my first since i've been here and hopefully there will be some more bands to see.

also, everybody knows about the german kid going mental on his computer, well i never really thought it was funny, but i saw the translated version, and that version is good. its no different, just subbed, but its so cool to see what the kid is going mental over.

Joys

i recently discovered the joys of typing cover into youtube. not only did i find a live cover of pulk/pull revolving doors with turned out to be just the band using the actually track as a backing track and adding nothing ontop, except a flute.

but i also found a kinda-jazz cover, it wasnt really jazz but it was double bass piano clarinet and drums, of i might be wrong, and it was very good. snazzy even.

Pretty damm lucky

so i finally got round to listening to the new kings of leon album, and i thought it was gay from the singles, but now i've listened to it as a whole i like it, i dont think i'm a fan of KOL yet but i deffinatly like what they do.

also had my first exam as part of my degree, lets not talk about that.

and as a bonus, i heard from a very reliable source that this guy final fantasy is amasing. i checked him out and it is indeed impresive. it's a guy that sings and plays violin but uses delay pedals and effects to give it a different sound. check him out playing a covr of this modern love, it's nifty.

after a month of nothing to talk about im back to bloggin........about nothing........yeah.

well hopefully things will pick up again in a few days, its just about 87% of the people reading this i've seen on a daily basis for the last month so i've talked to them in person.

i need some drugs.
