it might just be the grainy footage and the fact that the bands where better, but whenever i see footage from festivals or concerts from early 90's or late 80's (your basic depressed scene) it always looks so much better than footage from now.
i can't really descrube it, but everything just seems way too happy, or at least too plain now.

Yeah I agree, the angst thing just has more impact in live footage i think. Oh well still some awesome live bands about.
